Boadicea the Victorious Sapphire Collection Rose Sapphire
Rose is one of the great constants in the work of Boadicea the Victorious – many-sided, at times fruity like green apple, at times sweet like Turkish delight or honey. Rose Sapphire dedicates a jewel of its own to the flower: an animalic Turkish rose, wrapped in fragrant spices and sparkling radiance.
The Fragrance:
Cardamom, curcuma, geranium and saffron open with warm spice. At the heart, Turkish rose glows alongside the liquorice-leather facet of helichrysum, noble neroli and a generous dose of Hedione that lends the lipstick-tinted bloom a scintillating sparkle. In the drydown the rose turns softer and powdery, as benzoin, cedarwood, cistus labdanum, myrrh, smoky cypriol, patchouli and musks rise slowly, revealing its crystalline facets like the light of a setting sun.
