Créateur Mare - Eau Du Levant
Nikolaus Gelpkes heart beats for a great passion: the sea. The studied marine biologist is editor-in-chief of the German print magazine MARE. As part of the preparations for the MARE issue April / May 2018, which was published under the headline "The scent of the sea", he visited the rebel perfumer Geza Schön in Berlin.
Actually they just wanted to talk about the fragrant marine treasure ambergris; but quickly there was born a much greater idea: to create a "scent of the sea".
THE FRAGRANCE
Geza Schön, known as the creator of the cult perfume series Escentric Molecules, composed a maritime perfume anthem: From notes of Mediterranean citrus fruits and flowers, basil, labdanum, ambergris and vetiver he created Eau du Levant - a tribute to the eastern Mediterranean, the Levant.
