Named for the famous whipped cream with sugar of La Belle France, Chantilly will send you into paroxysms of bliss with its greedy cornucopia of fruits served over lashings of cream and vanilla. The cheerful cascade of fruity aromas bubble up almost immediately: bergamot, mandarin, melon, orange and strawberry, all finely in tune with each other, and smoothed into one harmonious fruity accord. The tasty heart of apple, coconut, and blackcurrant is softened by a discreet and powdery floral touch, but make no mistake - this is a gourmand perfume designed to please and satiate the senses. Finally, a slathering of rich, creamy vanilla, lightened by a vein of powdery talc notes and musk, for a result that is sensual but also clean and feminine. The boudoirish, cosmetics-style finish provides an almost retro flavor to the creamy fruit cocktail that preceded it, and gives it an adult edge.
