WHAT IT SMELLS LIKE
Dark, dank patchouli - the genuine, 1970's earthy stuff - is given a powdery, retro edge by benzoin resin. Sandalwood and musk in the base add a certain intimate furriness, like the tender underbelly of your favourite cat. Ginger, civet, and musk lend a suggestive, animalic edge to the patchouli-musk mixture, making it a perfect choice for those among us who prefer their chypres with a huge dose of sensuality. Dense, lush, and dirty in a vintage way, this is one animalic patchouli chypre to keep you warm during the cold winter months. A modern classic, we say.
