Calabrian bergamot is one of the most exquisite Italian citrus fruits - an unmistakable symbol of the Mediterranean and its aroma - beguiling, fresh and sparkling. To capture this, the so-called "bergamot-sponge" method is used - a tradition carried out exclusively by hand, which collects the essential oils from the bergamot shell. The exquisiteness and complexity of the citric essence thus obtained forms the expressive character of 'Bergamotto di Calabria'. After invigorating top notes of bergamot, the fruity floral heart expresses through orange blossom, neroli and jasmine, which softly caress the bergamot, while a warm and calm base of sandalwood and musk completes the composition.
