The woods are finally starting to bud, the air is filled with a sun-drenched scent and the long-awaited spring has unmistakably arrived. For the beaver family, this is the start of a joyful time. After the meagre diet of winter, fresh leaves and herbs are now on their menu, and with well-filled bellies they begin to expand their castles. At the same time as the beavers are busy at work, farmers in another part of the forest are driving channels into the bark of maple trees. Their rhythmic tapping sounds waft over and mingle with the gnawing and rustling of the unimpressed animals. The delicious scent of the tree sap, which is then processed into golden syrup, combines with the bright spring green and the aroma of the beavers to create Zoologist's source of inspiration for its Beaver Maple Edition.

Blue water lilies alongside neroli and carrot form its lively, rippling opening, which flows into a complexly composed caramelised maple accord surrounded by vetiver, Peru balsam and exquisite woods. Zoologist embeds this olfactory impression of the natural forests of its Beaver Maple Edition on a foundation of synthetic castoreum, patchouli and creamy sandalwood, enveloped in soft vanilla and cocoa notes.
