Hedonik - Exquisite Affair
An exquisite affair: Sweet and sexy, the liaison between Peach and Leather is unexpected and therefore surprising. A secret relationship between two contrasting yet complementary characters: innocence and seduction. This liaison is symbolically represented by the harmony of Peach and Leather. This "exquisite" juxtaposition creates a non-trivial, playful and unconventional fragrance.
The innocence
I worked on a sweet-fruity vertical accord centred on peach and the values associated with it: youth, carefreeness, the age of innocence. It opens with the freshness of bergamot and green tangerine, reminiscent of freshly picked fruit; the peach is then enriched by osmanthus and blackcurrant, and enhanced by a note of caramel - cotton candy in the base.
The seduction
Leather, in its myriad variations, is one of my favourite accords for its deep and intense character, which resonates with carnality and sensuality. In this composition, I have worked on a whispering but well-defined leather, animal and dirty, which blends irresistibly with the sweetness of caramel. It is the intense and sweet scent of a horse's saddle. Sandalwood is added to enhance the creaminess of the lactonic heart and the seduction of the fractional, velvety and intense patchouli.
