Pierre Guillaume Paris - Collection Croisiére - Foudre
What do champaca flowers smell of in the electric, ozone-charged air before the storm hits? Witness the warm, heady yellow flowers tremble as the storm approaches, releasing their rich, tea-like scent into the violent air. The sky darkens in a matter of seconds - the wind picks up and gathers itself up into a raging storm. With the wind comes the rain, and then thunder and lightning - all clashing down on the helpless landmass of Reunion Island. A magnificent spectacle of nature which can be quite pleasant when watched from the comfort of your own home, and with a glass of chilled Chablis in your hand.....
The air is on fire with electrons and fizzing with vetiver, pepper, aquatic rain notes (Aldemone©) and the voluptuous, wounded petals of champaca and magnolia flowers. A scent that makes you feel alive!
