Knudsen (born 1911), who travelled across the ocean from Europe to pursue his American dream and finally created the first men's perfume in the USA (A Man's Cologne). His extraordinary life in the metropolises of the USA and his European roots have inspired Knudsen over decades to incomparable perfume concepts. Every GRAVEL COLOGNE fragrance achieves that "special something" by adding stones (Gavel) which give a warm colour note during the maturing process and round off the smell.
