Pierre Guillaume Paris - PG05 - L'eau de Circe
Ah, Circe. Her powers of seduction are legendary - a charming goddess who had many men at her feet. But be careful with this one. Yes, in her you will find the most desirable woman you have ever encountered but also a powerful sorceress who doesn't think twice before transforming her unsuspecting victims into lions and wolves should they fail to conquer her heart. Circe has inspired many artists to create important works of art in her honor; among them Pierre Guillaume with his beautiful perfume, L'Eau de Circe.
What it smells like
L'Eau de Circe is a floral oriental fragrance with notes of rosa damascena (Damask rose), jasmine, osmanthus, orchid, ylang-ylang, white peach leaf, tangerine, patchouli, woods, and amber. The spirit of the scent is contained within the sensuous duet between the peachy osmanthus and the creamy sandalwood, itself wrapped up in a cocoon of honey balm and amber. The fragrance has a slightly retro feel similar to a sepia-toned photograph, with all the elegance and nostalgia that this implies.
