Kevin Mathys

Kevin Mathys is a French perfumer working for CPL Aromas in Dubai. His passion for fragrances was ignited during his childhood in Clermont, France, where he experimented with colognes. After studying in Montpellier, he began his career as a junior flavorist in Hereford, UK. He received his perfumery training at Bell F&F in Leipzig under the mentorship of Katryn Wnendt and Dr. Sebastian Reuter.

Mathys' creations are characterized by emotional depth and innovative compositions. He enjoys working with leather, wood, and amber notes. His notable creations include fragrances for brands such as Kajal, Electimuss, and various Arabian perfume houses. In 2024, he was a finalist at the Art and Olfaction Awards for his fragrance Kajal IV.

Outside of perfumery, he draws inspiration from activities like sketching, swimming, and hiking. Mathys views perfumery as an art form that, similar to music or painting, creates emotional connections.
