Pierre Guillaume Paris - PG24 - Papyrus de Ciane
Papyrus de Ciane - an irrepressibly fresh perfume that bears the unmistakable signature of young perfumer Pierre Guillaume
Inspired by the imposing papyrus - which perfumer Pierre Guillaume first discovered during a visit to the freshwater spring Fonte Aretuse in the Sicilian city of Syracuse - the classical architecture of 'Papyrus de Ciane' reminds of the anatomy of this unique plant.
The top notes represent the cone of the papyrus. Galbanum and broom - an orange blossom honey-like essence - awaken fresh and woody associations with sparkling greens. The stem is symbolized by the heart which creates a soft green plant chord accompanied by incense. The base note represents the roots of the papyrus bush. A modernly reinterpreted Mousse de Saxe-chord in combination with musk lends this frangrance a timeless depth and adherence.
