The proverbial search for the Holy Grail led to an olfactory jewel - Aura Sublime. And it was the many failures along the way that actually paved the way towards the Holy Grail at the end.
The idea of ??this very special fragrance originated with Oliver Babic. After a fruitless search to find his ideal fragrance, the one whose shape he saw so clearly in his own head, he decided to take matters into his own hands and simply make the fragrance himself. But in the end, he had to accept that he could not. In Cecile Zarokian, he found the perfect partner he needed - that final secret ingredient - to create and finish his Aura Sublime.
The topnotes of Aura Sublime unfurl like a steel dagger being pulled out of its sheath - bright and sharp with bergamot and lemon, they cast a wide net of fresh and sparkling citrus notes. Gradually Aura Sublime softens, yields, and loses this fiery, metallic thrust, retiring to a heart of iris and Hedione that glows gently and diffusely. In the base, notes of vanilla absolue, ambergris, and precious woods impart a sensation of deep and pleasing heat to the fragrance. Musk and tonka bean give Aura Sublime a silky, clean finish, like the slip of a fine crème brulee on the tongue.
