Trudon - Tuileries - Diffuser
Two legendary queens are the subject and inspiration of this noble home fragrance: the former queen of France, Marie Antoinette - and the undisputed queen of flowers, the rose.
The fragrance
The rose was Queen Marie Antoinette's favorite flower throughout her life; so the fruity-floral scent of Tuileries is - not without reason - a noble homage to the queen of flowers.
In the top note, a triad of tangerine, pink pepper and black currant sets the mood for the floral revelation of the heart note. A magnificent, majestic rose blooms in the heart of the fragrance - royally entwined with proud geraniums, sweet raspberries and delicate white flowers. Meanwhile, the fragrant spirits of patchouli, musk, vanilla and sandalwood emerge from the royal fragrance base...
The Tuileries Collection
From the life of Marie Antoinette, what we are most aware of these days are the magnificent moments. The last few years that the famous Queen of France had to spend under house arrest as a result of the French Revolution are generally less well known. The last domicile of the royal family, which was strictly guarded from October 6, 1789 to August 10, 1792, was the Tuileries Palace, located next to the famous Louvre in Paris.
During this time, the royal wax factory Trudon also got into trouble. Shortly after the revolution in 1789, Trudon lost their status as purveyor to the royal court and their future was uncertain. Eventually, however, they managed to get official permission to continue their work - and were even allowed to continue supplying the royal family until their last days.
With the Tuileries collection, the House of Trudon commemorates a chapter in French history that was of fateful importance for France and the French royal family as well as for the traditional Trudon manufactory itself.
The Diffuser
The diffuser, which is handmade in the glass factory, has a 100% recyclable aluminum ring into which eight natural, black rattan sticks are inserted. Decorated with a golden emblem, the bottle contains 350 ml of precious perfume nectar, which exudes its royal fragrance for three to four months.
Separate refill packs of the Tuileries Room Perfume are also available.
