Xerjoff - Join the Club - 400
Join the Club - 400 was inspired by the heady shopping atmosphere of Selfridges department store, at number 400 Oxford Street in London. According to the "Join The Club" philosophy, the ingredients are kept "secret" - and the fragrance is to be discovered through olfactory connections and memories....
And so, at the beginning, one experiences delightful citrusy notes of bergamot, mandarin, perhaps even bitter orange. Upon deeper immersion, very delicate hints of honey emerge. As it progresses, one detects orange blossom, dosed just right, enough for the aficionados, not too much for the skeptics. Then quite dominant tobacco notes take over, but rather a light blond tobacco, almost green....
At the end, in addition to the woody notes, vanilla actually comes to emerges, only very delicate, barely perceptible. A delightful fragrance, picking up the stylistics of K'Bridge, yet quite differently pronounced.
